Our Team

We, as Machine Answered, are a team of expert appliance service technicians who are always eager to share the knowledge we have to help others solve issues with their home appliances. We strive to help appliance owners fix their appliances themselves and avoid paying someone.

Currently, our team is made up of the following:

Ethan .M. (Founder and Chief Editor)

Ethan is the founder and the chief editor of the blog Machine Answered. Having worked as an appliance service technician and repair person for 15 years, Ethan has amassed a wealth of experience in fixing home appliances and diagnosing faults at an early stage.

Ethan. M.

Ethan is passionate about research and always looks for new ideas to tackle emerging appliance problems head-on. He mainly handles refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and microwaves.

As the founder of Machine Answered, Ethan always looks for issues most home appliance owners face and motivates the team to develop its solutions. He outlines the blueprint of what to write about and the pinch points to tackle to address the readers’ concerns.

Ethan leads the team in ensuring we stick to the blog’s mission of providing detailed but simple troubleshooting guides for typical home appliances. His drive is not only to make Machine Answered a place where readers can find answers to appliance problems but also where they can polish their home DIY prowess.

Hellen Wanjiku (Contributing Writer and Editor)

Hellen is an experienced writer and editor who regularly writes for the blog. As the only lady on the team, Hellen grew up seeing her dad fix just about anything in the house.

From fridges and ACs to dishwashers and washing machines, Hellen observed her father repair them closely, and that’s how her passion for home appliance DIY grew.

Having been in the content writing and editing space for over 10 years, combined with her wealth of experience as a DIY enthusiast, Hellen brings a wealth of information to the team.

She mainly handles refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and other appliances from time to time. Her strongest qualities are creating how-to guides, where she explains how to identify a fault in a home appliance and what to do to fix it.

Hellen is constantly researching emerging trends in the DIY space, and whenever she finds something that could make it easy for readers to troubleshoot their home appliance, she is always the first to share it on the blog.

Her drive is to motivate everyone, especially ladies, to try and troubleshoot their home appliance DIY and not to have to depend on expert technicians when not necessary.

Daniel Makori (Contributing Writer and Editor)

Daniel is another experienced writer and editor on our team who brings much experience. Serving as a service technician and currently enjoying more than 8 years of experience in the field, Daniel is the go-to guy when you need your appliance fixed first.

Daniel

His portfolio includes appliance repair and maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacement. And when it comes to major appliances, Daniel writes more about microwaves, dishwashers, and air conditioners.

Daniel helps the team develop simple guides out of detailed product manuals to make home DIY troubleshooting funnier. You can count on him to address the pressure points among home appliance owners and recommend the right fixes and guides.

Michael Destiny (Contributing Writer and Editor)

Michael is the newest member of the team but an essential addition to the DIY space. He has more than 10 years of working as a service technician and about 7 years as a content writer.
